They didn't abandon her, like was stated she was DEPORTED by w/e kingdom they lived in originally, after causing so much fucking damage etc. I mean we learned in Fishman Island that Humans & Fishmen have identical blood. Since we learned this arc about the Bloodline Elements & the modding done to Judge's kids, I think by now it's pretty safe to presume that all the varied af races are modded humans from pre Void Century or w/e. Like if you are a weirdo who's rly into ocean exploration etc, you mod yourself to be able to breathe underwater etc. Although IDK if that's 100% accurate since it seems that even normie parents can rarely shit out RNG kids too (all the kids in the orphanage were abandoned because their parents couldn't handle them, which to me seems to imply that they were mostly born to normie humans, who are the most racist & least capable of handling the stronger outliers like fishmen, gigantism ppl like Big Mom & Whitebeard etc etc). Also it makes sense why Giants seem to hate-ish World Government etc (and they can't bruteforce them to join like they can normie islands because they'd lose vs all of the Giants), since we see here that these village elder mfs are like 3.5 centuries old. So their grandparents could have likely gotten clapped in Void Century, which happened 700-800 years ago, so I assume they'd scare the shit out of their kids by telling all kinds of stories etc. Now Joe knows how Blackbeard stole Whitebeard's DF. I think he ate Whitebeard's heart or w/e to have it transferred, just like how Big Mom got the Soul Soul DF. AFAIK it's Lineage Factor based, since DFs alter your Lineage Factor so you can do physics breaking shit etc (so Luffy's rubber trait is similar to the metallic exoskeleton trait of Judge's kids, who had their Lineage Factor modified by Judge). It's been for a long time theorized that the Ancient Kingdom manufactured DFs etc (and this is also how all the non-vanilla races exist, via gene modding essentially, albeit this doesn't just apply to organics, but even inanimate stuff, which is how you can "feed" a DF to an inanimate object as Vegapunk figured out (he was in the same team as Judge, and I assume he was the main dude behind figuring out the lineage factor shit, so Judge was probably like "bro lemme copy your homework real quick" more or less). So it wouldn't have been that far fetched for a super civ like the Ancient Kingdom to have done modding on the citizens just because they can for funsies (after all, they made 3 giga OP super weapons & all that, named after literal fucking gods)), so it makes sense they'd essentially be pre-manufactured gene editing pills so to speak, that can rewire your genes without any specialist knowledge required, just pop one down the hatch & your genes have been edited in real-time, simple as
