Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry that it's been so quiet here, but I hope everyone has already discovered what has happened: the PSX core has been officially released.

Maybe there could have been some better time for this, but it doesn't make much of a difference from a development process anyway, as after the release is before the next release.

The PSX core project has always been open and many of you have been using the unofficial builds anyway, so having them distributed official with the updater is just more convenience for you.

Life has been a little tricky in the last month, but still there have been more than 10 fixes since the last post here, so have no worries, it's going on.

What will come next?

Well, we have 65 open bugs for the PSX core on Github. Quite a lot, but not too much considering the large library of thousands of games.

I cannot promise that I can fix all of them, but I will at least look at every bug and try to find out the reason or root cause and try my best. This work will cover at least some more months of the project.

If you also have been experiencing bugs, feel free to enter them in the github issue tracker.

The current plan is to have one update here for every new release of the PSX core with a changelist. In the meantime, unstable builds are available as before on discord or the unstable nightlies github for those who want to try the newest changes.

Thanks for your support and have fun!

Im probably one of the few people who wasn't massively excited for the ps core (as I didn't have one growing up) but I have been most enjoying this cores development, excellent work, please rest and then continue to be amazing!
