Mother of Learning Chapter 61: Anthills, a fantasy fiction | FictionPress

When Zorian woke up, he was back in Cirin, being subjected to Kirielle's usual morning antics. That was a relief. When the red light illuminated everything at the end of the previous restart, he had been afraid there would be lasting consequences.

I don't know when exactly I began measuring time in intervals of the three weeks it takes for an MoL chapter to finish . . .

Lol this chapter. Wonder what they are planning to do in the time dilation chamber. Improve shaping, combat and soul perception? or something more clever?

The next three weeks are going to be so painful . . . Loved this chapter. The telepathy relays are fantastic

Awesome chapter, as always. Love seeing them so proactive and starting to unwind the mysteries. The way Zorian uses and incrementally improves his skills is just so much fun to read. Thanks again!

I think the absolute best part was them going and dealing with all these problems. Like the invisible yetis, necromancers, the wasp temple, the giant fish. Just think about it. When Zach and Zorian get out of the time loop, they can go be badass adventures and become super famous mages easily. Well...stopping the invasion would make them pretty well known among the cloak and dagger groups, army, church, etc, but probably not famous

When is the next chapter target date? It wasn't changed. Thanks for the chapter

Boredwayfarer

Oops, I just realised from the comments above you do it in 3 weeks intervals anyway, thanks.

Great chapter like usual. I enjoyed reading about their antics.

I'm wondering. Did Zorian use his soul marker to check for the keys while he was in Eldemar?

Really enjoyed this chapter. I thought the conversation with Zach was kinda clumsy, but it escalated marvellously in the second half.

Yes, but the key detection sweep doesn't have the range to cover a whole city. The part of the city they could access has no Key. They need to access the palace in order to check there, though.

Good luck today :)

"They stormed a tower of a minor necromancer" DWARF FORTRESS? // "Apparently an Eye Beast – the floating purple blob covered with eyes that had killed him in one of the restarts – was one of the best choices for this." NETHACK?

nobody103

I am familiar with dwarf fortress, but this isn't a deliberate reference. The Eye Beast is actually inspired by Avernum games (see: http://polandpact.deviantart.com/art/Eye-beast-316710070).

I should check out that game.
