It's December 1st my dear patrons, and the first book of Mother of learning is now officially available on Amazon as an e-book. Here's a link for those interested in buying it:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09M2R6QLF/

For now, the book is only available for on Amazon, but it will eventually become available on other sites and in other formats. I'm not completely sure about the dates, but it should be 2-3 weeks from now. I will make another announcement when that occurs.

Physical edition of the book, including hardcover, will eventually come as well. That should be in the first quarter of 2022, and will be handled through a Kickstarter campaign.

Audiobook should also become avilable on the 21st of December.

I never thought this day would come, but here we are anyway. I am going to post something special on RR and Fictionpress in honor of this achievement, so keep an eye for that.

Got it once it came out! But I had already started rereading a few days ago, and am already at Arc 3. Weird side question: when Zorian briefly tried polymorphing as an Aranea to learn their senses, was he a female or male Aranea? Cause on one hand, he's male, but on the other hand, Aranea would feel like they're talking to a talking baby if that were the case. Or he could've turned into a female Aranea, which has other issues -- for other polymorphs, I've always assumed he turned into a male hawk, and so on. I'm always amused thinking what would've happened if, when he first started going to the Aranea colonies where there was that one colony that wanted him to act like an Aranea, if he actually did that and lived as a polymorphed Aranea as a while. But the brief polymorph later on was never expanded upon.

Ho, I'm so pumped up for the hardcover Mother of learning -(With illustrations ::):):)):):)). Happy to kickstart it !

When Zorian did that, he didn't really transform into a 'generic aranea' - he was copying the appearance of a specific aranea which serves as a template for the transformation. So he was actually in the form of female aranea.

Yesss! Can't wait, please share the kickstarter link as soon as it's available.

I preordered it so I got it as soon as it went up. I think I'll give it a read and refresh myself on the story and then see about a review.

I'm very much looking forward to the paperback. This is going to be the first physical bookI've bought in a long time. But this one I want to have.

@Domagoj For the physical book, a map like the ones you have online would be awesome! 😊

imagine we get to the end of the published version and jornak was changed to benisek. (or benisek's father) 🤣

Does that mean epub/pdf MoL will be available, too?

@domagoj i just finished! fantastic job. i found and highlighted a small number of typos, listed by chapter. 012 - Crawling to the three other on his hands and knees, he tried to wake them up, but they wouldn’t budge. - woke up disoriented and confused, waiting for Kirielle’s weight to pummel his abdomen. > needs "He" or "Zorian" before "woke up" 018 - Probably because the relatively narrow corridor didn't allow the trolls to advance in a single line and the ones in the back didn't let the ones in the front break up the mad charge. > "didn't allow" to "only allowed" 023 - “In my mind, teleportation has always been one of the ur-examples of what a proper mage can do, should be capable of.” 024 - The plan he and the matriarch had hashed out involved creation of a lot of magic items on his part, > involved the creation 025 - Kael showed up and knocked on the doorframe to get his attention.0 - some rudimentary mental defenses and was familiar with limitations of mind reading. > with "the" limitations 026 - He had never been a physically fit, and was just a teenager, whereas Red Robe seemed to be an adult and a capable runner.
