The next chapter is delayed for a week. That is, it will be published on the 17th instead of the 10th of September.

I won't make excuses. This is pure laziness and bad planning on my part. I started reading something and got a little too absorbed in it.

So yeah. Sorry people.

Lol, I called in sick to work the day after I started reading Mother of Learning. Think I started sometime in the evening and didn't stop until something like 9 or 10 the next morning.... Or something like that.

But what are you reading??

Ulrich Plchdrť

While reading MoL I fell asleep every day at ~3 AM every day for a week. I truly understand being absorbed :-).

Yes, if it's not too personal, what are you reading? :)

A Let's Play of Neverwinter Nights 2 and a Xianxia story (Desolate Era). Though I'm done with both now. I wouldn't really describe either as particularly good, but as far as time wasters/guilty pleasures go, I'll give them a pass. They had their moments.

See my response to JamesDG - a Let's Play of Neverwinter Nights 2 and Desolate Era (a Xianxia story).

NWN2 is good fun if you can get a group of friends together to play. I've never managed to finish it though. Another great old game that I've thought about playing back through is Arcanum: of Steamworks & Magick. It's a great game if you can get past the now dated interface.

I tried to play Arcanum once, but dropped it pretty fast. I was surprised later when I saw all sorts of people praising it on the internet, so maybe I was too harsh/hasty in judging it. Still, I doubt I'll ever really try to play it again.

I can vouch for Pillars of Eternity. Definitely has the overall feel of those old school dnd-based games that just pull you into a world.
