I'm. So glad you enjoyed the series.. My birthday is tomorrow the 19th and this is the perfect present your reaction..but season 3 is actually in production so hopefully we get it soon!!!!

I was soooo glad that the episode ended, I remember when I first watched the season (I binged it the night it came out) and I was holding my breath! The emphasis on “see you tomorrow” “I’ll text you in the morning” plus the lyrics and the music on that last bit (which btw is from a band that Tao’s actor is in) made me unease! Like I was expecting for something bad to happen and Im so glad it didn’t, I have scars for life after all the lbgt+ movies and shows Ive seen. That aside, the whole scene while seven is playing lives rent free in my mind! Since they all get together at Nick’s house honestly. And I love how Nick words everything he says, like he didnt say eating disorder and that he says please dont cut yourself again, rather please tell me if it ever gets that bad, allowing Charlie to feel freely and not banding anything (other than the S word). I’ve seen this so many times and it still gets me everytime! I enjoyed rewatching the show with your reactions! Thank God season 3 is already on the making so hopefully we wont wait that long!

Perfect ending, gets me every time, been years since i was in school but can still feel the effects of bullying. Great reaction

The friend group at Nick's house with Taylor rocking in the background is my favorite part of this whole series I think. I love this show so much and really appreciate your thoughts and reactions to it. Now we wait, but at least S3 is in production! Thanks again Jay!

Great reaction Jay, you're a top tier creator. People send you all that love and support because you deserve it, always positive, non-judgemental and open with your feelings. Just like Luis earlier on in the comments sections a big hug from me as well. 🤗. P.s. apparently the big scene at the end took seven hours to film and I think that Kit Connor and Joe Locke nailed it. Sadly we have a lot more than seven hours until the next season and with a new director too. Be interesting to see what he brings to the show. Take care. Pip x

Thank You for this reaction. Love it. And guess what. Covid just visit me again. 😟 So evry part of my body is in pain and painkillers practicly does not work at all. Your Heartstopper Season 2 Finale was a serious relieve to my pain. But i need a massive pain-killer-reaction 😁 And I think that Red, White and Royal Blue reaction will reduce my pain to minimum. 😁 My health is in Your Hands Jay. 😁😉 All of Jay's followers be careful Covid is Active and did not disappeard.

Rewatching this, cause why not. So apparently (dont quote me on that cause Im not 100% sure) the production got in contact with Taylor Swift to have her permission to play her song and she read the scene and found it so beautiful (so true of her, the “seven” scene is my favorite scene of the show so far) that she offered, I dont know if for free but the music supervisor of the show replied to a fans tweet stating that they jmust have a big budget if they were able to pay for it, to which they replied that she (Taylor) thought it was so beautiful that they made it work, whatever that means, and i find that very wholesome

In all the scuttlebutt I heard... It took 7 hours because neither Kit nor Joe was going to let that scene down. They rehearsed and rehearsed. Apparently, they both knew the impact it would have many, many people and wanted to be sensitive to the subject matter and show all the emotion associated with it. I will predict that this scene will earn both our boys Emmys. Even including Nick's coming out to his mum, this is probably the best scene between two people on screen, and definitely the best in all 16 episodes.

Jay... As usual, your reaction set me to tears. I've watched the second season many times, (often along with other reactors), but, watching it with you is always cathartic. Your absolutely genuine and visceral emotional responses hit as hard, if not harder, than the scenes themselves. And...that's a good thing, btw. You are truly a shining star. Everything about Heartstopper, both seasons, has been such a beautiful representation of the LGBTQIA+ Community. As a 58 year old gay man who wishes this sort of program was available in the 70's and 80's when I came of age, I am very proud of the work Alice Oseman brought to the world. It's refreshing to see queer youth happy, even during some pretty tough struggles. They face these with hope and optimism, not fear, degradation, and victim mentality. We definitely need more programming like this. And Kit and Joe are superheroes, (Joe, particularly, as he is, in fact, portraying a Marvel superhero soon), who deserve all the accolades and adoration they get. Enough of my rambling! LOL Anyway, I'm looking forward to your reaction RWaRB. I have the book, the audible, and have seen the film, again, many times. But, I'm anticipating YOUR reaction! Have a great weekend, Jay. <3

Jay, your reactions are so much more involving than any others’: you’re the genuine thing: a beautiful soul, a great human being, a font of love and acceptance (so rare). You were blessed with a beautiful soul and body - including generous lachrymal glands ! Other reviewers use their mouth (a lot) or brains (sometimes) only. That’s so DRY. Thank you for all the tears, sniffles and heart clutching. Please never change !

Michael

Season 3 is likely to be released in the summer of next year I would have thought. 'Young Royals' season 3 though should be soon - maybe January?
