Omg i almost screamed seeing this notification! This is my favorite episode of the season obviously because of piper and leo! I cried so much the first time I watched it when it seems that he died 😭 your reaction to their scenes was everything 😁 I cant wait for finale, so close! Season 2 is coming soon ahh i can't wait lol. Thanks again Jay your charmed reactions are my favorite. I also loved your reaction to prues outfits lol the outfits for the sisters in season 1 are tame compared to the other seasons 😆

Love Hurts is easily my favorite episode from season one. Overall... it's really, really good, especially thanks to the love story between Piper and Leo, which as you know... I love. I absolutely love how Piper is finally able to admit that she loves Leo in return after he becomes fatally wounded, and I love how she is able to discover that the trigger for Leo's powers is love, not only so she's able to heal him, but so she can find and help Leo and her sisters save Daisy. All of the moments between Piper and Leo all throughout this episode are really beautiful. Especially the moment Piper admits at last how much she truly loves him, allowing for her to find his trigger so she can save his life. Beautiful! :) I absolutely love learning more of Leo's backstory, when he reveals to Piper he was human once, and an Army medic back during World War II when he was killed, then brought before other Whitelighters and given a chance to become the Whitelighter he is now. Leo is one of my favorite characters throughout this entire series, so learning anything about him is great, and I really love his backstory. Just as I love that he can potentially become a human again and essentially clip his wings so that he can be with Piper too,. And I love the conflict we see in both Leo's and Piper's eyes at this choice, given that should Leo become human again, he will no longer be able to help future witches and Whitelighters. True love is beautiful, but so is Leo's gifts as a Whitelighter. Leo also reveals to the sisters that Daisy is destined to one day become a Whitelighter herself. And he also reveals he isn't only meant to help and protect witches, but potential future Whitelighters like Daisy. I really love this about Leo's character as well. Also... like you, I love how the sisters switch their powers around accidentally, as Piper finds a spell that would hopefully allow her to switch powers with Leo so she can heal him. Unfortunately, all of their powers get switched around, but it makes for a fun episode as well. It's hilarious seeing the three sisters struggle to discover the triggers for one another's powers, and also touching in the end when both Prue and Phoebe come to understand exactly what it takes to have the powers that they do, as they come to understand one another too. As for Daisy and Alec, who we discover is a Darklighter and the opposite of who Leo is... I like the overall storyline between them. The acting between them, and even Leo (Brian Krause) at a few points throughout this episode, isn't perfect. But it isn't bad either. I like the storyline of a woman who falls in love with a Darklighter, until she discovers who he really is and that he's evil. And I love that she desperately tries to escape from him. As for the Darklighter's death... I think this was one of the best vanquishings throughout the season. I like it a lot, because Prue is able to turn his own power against him once she switches powers with him through the same spell Piper says for Leo, and I love seeing Prue and Phoebe work together to destroy Alec. Very smart. And lastly... I like the idea of Prue and Andy together a lot. And I love that Andy sacrifices his career as a detective in order to protect her, but mostly I love that he's absolutely okay with having done so, as he reveals that Prue's and her sisters' work at saving lives is the reason why he became a cop, and that he's proud of her for keeping up her fight against evil. They're sweet and cute together. Thank you again! I look forward to many more reactions for Charmed from you. I'm happy you love Leo too, because like I said, he's one of my favorite characters, along with Piper too. So, until next time...
