This will not be the end!! I won't accept it. I refuse. Just when the show was getting so good! Not that it hasn't been the whole time, but this season was something else. Plus, how many shows are there that actually get better with time? Most have a good first, maybe second, season, and then it kinda goes downhill. This one hasn't lost any quality over three seasons, and just keeps coming out with amazing episodes and emotional moments that you don't get anywhere else. Also, we haven't gotten a resolution on Kakwet's storyline. Anyway, this episode was so good. Everything I could have hoped for in a finale. I loved the Marilla and Matthew moments. It was fun seeing Marilla so excited for school shopping. And the dress she made Anne! This is the same Marilla that in the first season refused to make anything even slightly fancy because it's ridiculous, but this dress was fancy, and high quality. Plus puffed sleeves! And the Matthew storyline... that was sad and sweet. Rewatching this episode, I noticed in the field scene, he only gets upset when Anne changes tone to how sad she'll be to leave, not when she's excited about school. He really just didn't want to hold her back or keep her there. I think he has to be one of my very favorite characters in this show. I also loved the Bash scenes, both with his mother and with Mary's son. I love that he's staying on and going to be involved. And Diana going off on Gilbert was the best! I think that was a long time coming, and was exactly the push he needed, and as soon as her voice-over happened, I knew what was coming. And their scene was perfect! I don't have much else to say on that, except that I'm so glad it FINALLY happened. And I'm not ready for this to be the last of them. And then from there, her best friend showed up and is going to school with them, and then Marilla/Matthew with the book. And she finds out her mother had red hair like her, so she can maybe like the way she looks, and she was a teacher, which Anne has already said she's going to be. It was all just perfect!! Also, I loved that we got some Cole and Josephine! Cole has just looked so happy this season, and has been there for Anne so much, and I loved their little moment. Also, I have to mention the contrast here. She literally came to the Cuthberts a few years ago (I think 5?), with no friends, no family, and was lucky if she got to go to school. At that point she was probably headed for roughly the same life as the girl who was still at the orphanage when they went back. And this year, she's going to college at the top of her class, has a good group of friends and a best friend, has family that loves her, and now a boyfriend! Her life has completely turned around, and I loved getting to see that. Anyway, this was the perfect season finale. Hopefully not the series one, we need season 4! Great reaction, and I really hope there are more to come! (Sorry for the mini-essay, I really needed to rant about this a little :)

I love your reactions to this show so much!!!! I am heartbroken Netflix Canceled it but like you I have faith that with enough noise the fans can bring it back! Until then I think you should definitely do reactions to the 1985 miniseries Anne of Green Gables. I think you would absolutely love it!!

I have loved your reactions to this show so much and im as heartbroken as anyone else to hear it got cancelled. Idk if you know it (you probably do) but Anne with an E is based off the book series Anne of Green Gables. If you like reading too you should deff check those books out. There are 8 books and they follow Anne from she comes to Green Gables as a child until her marriage with Gilberth and later on her own children growing up during the first world war. I know you cant really do reactions to books 😂 but if you ever decide to read them, you could always make a short (or long 😉) video where you talk about each book. I would so love to hear your opinion of the books too
