I loved this episode! All the Anne/Gilbert scenes were so good, and the slow-mo part was perfect. You can tell they both love each other, and I love that they both finally know it. Even so, Anne was in a really tough position. For one, she was pretty drunk, and then Gilbert tells her he has the future he wants and the school that would open up so many doors for him to do what he's dreaming of, but he would throw it all away for her. It's really hard to say yes and ask him to do that. I'm really hoping they talk though. Then there's the Jerry/Diana storyline, which is tricky. I think Diana was kinda freaking out that she was going to move to another country on her own, and have to fit in with all these other upper-class girls, and being with Jerry was the opposite of that. I'd like to think that her breaking up with him was just that her trying to become that person, and they'll get back together, but I also want to see them talking, because we haven't seen them actually just being together functionally, and if they really don't have much to talk about, then that's not just a class thing. Also, I loved watching Kakwet get home, and that they kept showing little pieces of her trip the whole episode. And there were a bunch of throwbacks to the beginning of the show too! The milkman in the first scene with Kakwet was the one that gave Anne a ride from the orphanage when she was sent back, I got so excited when he showed up, and I kinda wish we got more of him. And there's the oath that Diana and Anne make, which is the one they did when they became friends in the first episode. And also the elbow pinch that Matthew gave Anne when talking about the test is the same thing he did when Anne asked if he still wanted her to stay in the beginning (I may have rewatched the first season too many times,..). Anyway, great reaction, and I can't wait for the next one! Although this season is going too fast, I can't believe it's almost over!
