Oh wow, two episodes in one day, colour me lucky :D This episode is pretty cool, love the overcoming the fears part and how the flashbacks are mirrored in the present - also that moment where the camera is focused on David's hands in the forest, where he has the sword in one and the cell phone in the other, and then calls his daughter to talk about the Wicked Witch - just so funny to me, like OUaT in a nutshell xD Zelena is perfectly cast - I mean, everyone on the show is really - she's just so good at looking smily-innocent at the same time as looking super sketchy :D

First of all... thank you so much for posting two episode reactions for Once Upon a Time today!!! I was so excited and we're now two steps closer to one of my absolute favorite episodes of the season, as well as to the season three part two finales which are also my absolute favorite episodes from season three. I can't wait!! But as for The Tower... I enjoyed this episode a lot. I know that it isn't among anyone's favorite episodes or anything and like you said... it's probably among everyone's least favorites. However, I really like it myself. My favorite scene was between Emma and Hook of course, as Emma asks Killian what he did during their missing year, yet he refuses to tell her, and then hearing Killian assure her that her heart still works because it was able to be broken. It's sad, but such a powerful moment between them both and the look they give one another... stunning. :) Next... I loved how Zelena focused on David and made him face his fears of being a father all over again, when he was unable to be a father for Emma. I liked how the demons in both the present storyline and in the past storyline were actually themselves, as David helped Rapunzel face her own self too in order to help free her from the tower, which he did. And she finally faced her own fear of being Queen and the loss of her brother, then became reunited with her parents once more. David also faced his own self and won, but this time... Zelena used the root on him in order to steal his sword which is now imbued with a little of his courage. Zelena's very intriguing and I couldn't wait to find out just what it was she was after. Also, Zelena is quite creepy at times with how she acts around Mary Margaret and her poor baby inside of her. It's brilliant and Rebecca Mader's acting as Zelena, is brilliant. I really love her as the Wicked Witch a lot. :) Also, I loved the brief scene between Regina and Henry too. It's so sweet to see them together, even though Henry can't remember Regina as his mother. And I loved it when Regina tells him that perhaps one day, he will have more family than he will know what to do with. So true! Overall... I really loved this episode a lot too. Oh... and now the heroes all know that Rumple is alive, so yay!! It's getting good!
