The trick is to do the things that are both physically and emotionally (psychologically) possible for us. Anything else is actually bad to do.


In other words, move your entire life into quadrant A.


On the face of it, this sounds like a call to mediocrity, when, in fact, it’s the total opposite. Strings (permutations and combinations) of easy actions produce awesome results, just like a bunch of amino acids strung together produce crazy proteins.


Subtle and unsubtle differences in arrangement (i.e. permutations and combinations) produce massive differences of both degree and kind.

Quadrant C

keywords: tiring, thoughtless, intellectually lazy


Quadrant D

keywords: heroic, ideal, honour, “the few, the proud”
