Isles of Interplanar Travel (Patreon)

Hello all!

The Isles of Interplanar Travel is my latest addition to the map archive of depictions of otherworldly scenes. It features an array of rocky "isles" and ruins floating about in an astral cosmos in combination with the "door" by which interplanar travel is achieved. 

One of the bigger pieces of feedback in our Annual Patron Feedback this spring was an enthusiasm for unique details that lend themselves as springboards for a DM's narrative. I'm hoping that the door here and the various keys scattered about can accomplish exactly that! Do adventurers need a specific key to unlock the door and move through it? Are they releasing something from the other side? Do different keys provide means of accessing different planes? Can each key instead shift adventurers to a different time at this location--perhaps one where the buildings stand pre-ruins? etc.

The Isles of Interplanar Travel comes in its default appearance (as  previewed above) as well as in an "unfurnished" variant with the door, keys, ruins, and some other busier lighting effects removed in case you'd like to create an series of astral isles all your own. All of those come with or without a grid  overlay as well as in VTT-compressed versions for far lighter file  sizes.
