Winter Maps Collection (Patreon)

Hey folks!

Welcome to the third installment in our collections series, a category of map that is a little different than my standard battle map releases. If you're unfamiliar, this "collection" is the equivalent of nine battle maps and perhaps better yet, they are all seamless with one another when combined like the graphic above. This means they can be assembled in rows, columns, or as a full image to make many varieties of much larger maps! 

To offset the enormous jump in scale of these collection releases I compromise by relying more heavily on existing assets in combination with original, hand drawn elements (like hundreds of mounds of snow....). The Winter Maps Collection comes in a few downloadable varieties below:

• Standard Map Theme (as pictured above)
• A 'wilderness' variant with the manmade elements removed (farm, mill, ruins, etc.)
• Nighttime palette of the Standard theme
• VTT-Compressed versions of each of the above (-90% file size, almost the exact same quality!)

The goal here is of course in this instance to favor quantity and scale over uniqueness or individuality. These 'collection' sets have been pretty well received previously; if you like this winter set and want more I'd encourage you to check out the previous Forest Collection and Urban Collection.
