Hello all!

Not too long ago many of you helped express a preference on asset pack themes for the patron-only packs and the Spell Assets came out pretty clearly on top. Since then I've been experimenting with a few different approaches and trying my best to balance functionality and aesthetic appeal (something several of you were kind enough to provide helpful feedback on in these assets' preview).

Using patron's feedback I worked to increase the contrast in the spell's visuals, heightened the sense of power within the projectiles, reworked some labels more appropriately, and on my own worked to make sure each of these different 'themes' of magic felt distinct from one another.

Although I had not intended it to be, this asset pack has become a series (this is the first of three) as the unique challenges these presented took a fair bit of time to work out and frankly there is a lot of ground to cover! Part One contains a total of 5 magic 'themes' (water, ice, fire, nature, and lightning) which should cover most of the 'raw elements' side of the arcane. As you can see in the preview these all come in projectiles, cones, spheres, and squares which should cover the vast majority of broad-use spell effect types as well as providing you with 80 different unique assets.

I plan for Part Two to contain a second set of 5 magical themes, covering the following areas: Wild magic, Shadow magic, Celestial magic, Rainbow themes, and a more neutral and/or wind-based theme. If you have any particular feedback on those themes or would like to suggest one please let me know and I promise I'll give it serious consideration. Meanwhile the third and last set of Spell Assets will cover more unique spell effects to cover less broad-use spells and more particular ones like: Bigby's Hand, Wall of Ice, Cloud of Daggers, etc. (more info on that pack to come later).

In the meantime, please enjoy these five magical themes of effect markers! I hope they add a visually compelling tool to your combat-running arsenal.
