Hello all!

For the 2nd map of July I was commissioned by a fellow patron to recreate a map of an older location in the history of D&D--the town of Longsaddle. Being a preexisting location within the Forgotten Realms setting created by WotC we are lucky that it is already rife with backstory, NPCs, and previous references you can look through at your own reference on its wiki page.

I had a good time revitalizing a new map for an old location and in particular getting to play around with a new method for creating dirt roads for town maps such as this one. I'm quite happy with how they came out; more natural looking, indicative of foot traffic, and blending more into the background so locations stand out.

In the variations pack you'll find a 'sepia' version should you be of the mind to give your players a more literal, in-game map of the town.

Enjoy!

Oh! I was waiting (mainly because I commissioned it) for this one and I didn't notice your email come in. :) Great great job. Longsaddle features heavily in my upcoming Forgotten Realms campaign and my players will love this!

You say Longsaddle, I say Swanford. Exactly what I needed for my small, mysterious questing hub.
