Well THAT was insane. Truly a smart, well done, absolutely wild film and I totally get the hype. Wow.

NOTE: You follow along with your own copy of the movie; I have a little timer right at the beginning where it counts down and shows the word "play" when I myself start playing the movie. I also have a timer synced throughout the movie so you're also in sync the whole time! If you don't have your own copy, then you'll have pretty much no idea what's happening!

I love David Fincher and I think he did a terrific job with this film. He knows how to set the mood. I also think Kevin Spacey is an amazing actor, even though he’s not a good human being. But, I’m sorry. I won’t be watching this one with you. I don’t have any desire to see it again 🫣😬🤮

Most of David Fincher's films explore very dark themes, which is why he was the perfect fit for adapting the American remake of 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.' Since you've already watched the Swedish version, you should consider putting that on a poll sometime too! Yeah, Se7en is undoubtedly one of the best films ever made in that genre. Really enjoyed watching along!

I saw this movie in the theater while on vacation in Florida. When the credits rolled I was angry. This movie had a physiological effect on me. It filled me with a sense of dread. We walked on the beach every night before going to sleep which was usually relaxing. On that night I looked at other people we passed with suspicion. That sense of dread lingered for at least a day. No movie made me feel the way Seven did before or since that night. As a work of art it is impressive. As a fun/romantic date night with your husband, not so much.
