Here we go, guys! We're in the conclusion of the story for real now...eek!

I hope it has the feel I was going for. I think when you sit down and read the book in a sitting, it's going to work. I'm just worried that after two years of slooowly reading it, it's going to feel like a letdown!

What I was going for was the tone of an unsettling short story, like, say... Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been, or A Good Man is Hard to Find. You know the feeling after reading a story like that? Things aren't *quite* fully spelled out, the ending isn't tied up in a bow, and they're so much more disturbing because of that. But you read those stories in twenty minutes, not a paragraph at a time over two years! :)

I think the buildup might have left people expecting a big twist or something, not just...yeah, this is a terrible place and bad things happen here, and you probably can't stop it.

Anyway--just some thoughts to keep in mind as we get through these last pages! This is page 152 and 153 here, and 158 is the final page. I'm still debating whether to post in batches or not... For now, one or two pages at a time seems to feel right.

Another preview coming for you tomorrow!

So this is likely how book 1 ends right,If it does ,will book 2 be a prequel showing how the town of ninecrow is cursed especially with hooded beings and reveal some of the major plot holes shown from Book 1 ,will there be book 3 which will also the last of the series this time focusing on Dawn as she attempt to prevent a new family from falling into the ninecrow curse and lead them safely out of town with most of the loose plot holes resolved but at the cost that the town along with Dawn herself will truly be separated from the world making it a complete ghost town without any population except Dawn herself who is the only living being with some crows and the ghosts of Amanda and Cary and the rest of the souls of the ninecrow victims as their only companions,Now I understand you got a book deal which means you are working on a different graphic novel aimed for kids in 2024 probably a light horror comedy type which is good but will there actually be Book 2 and 3 of Ninecrow both prequel and sequel with different protagonists? Because I was just hoping if the series will continue and end with a hopeful ending, thats all.
