Here is the second sculpt.

Would you guys like it if I did a version that was more like the one on the cover of the 5th ed monster manual? 

Let me know in the comments, I wont have time to do it for the next release but maybe the one after that.

Yeah with the amount of variants on this monster it'd be great to have options, I've got the old Reaper one that has stood in for many sub species. Love the sculpts for everything, you're going to break my bank on resin!

I support them I would also like a version of fifth edition, :) By the way, do I understand that you can print on resin?

4 eye stalks seems too symmetrical to me and that makes it less horrifying. Asymmetry is far more terrifying.

I'll be the odd one out and say I don't really care about a Monster Manual cover version considering they already released a really popular official Nolzur's Beholder that is pretty much exactly the MM cover for 6€ / $6 or so. In this case I like that you have your own interpretation and I would rather have the other beholderkin get some love as well, considering 5E has like 6 different ones.

Yes, I would love one like on the monster manual cover. That being said this one is AWESOME, as well. Reminds me of a spectator, which just happens to be in my current campaign and I don't have a good figurine. This is a fantastic beholder... thank you for your amazing work!

Yeah I print on both resin and fdm. I try to have my sculpts so they can be printed on both.

This one is based on the stalker. It's a specific kind of beholder. Your so right though about the asymmetry, there is something really unsettling about it.

Your own spin on a classic beholder. Something between xan and the mm cover, perhaps. Be nice to see something not just terrifying but also with some quirkyness, like xan.

what if you added mutation to it? turning it into a decrepit eye horror? like that bloated or decaying effect you have used on other sculpts.

Dude!!! This one is my JAM! This has easily got to be one of my favorite models of yours!I'd love a version of this with 8 eye stalks if doable. Heck, if they come separated in December's bundle I don't mind posing that myself.

Critical Crafting

I would love some kind of mutation of the 5e beholder, maybe a lich beholder? That could be awesome! Or perhaps some more lovecraftian horror? A beholder with the one big eye and then waaaaay too many little eyes? Or just massive teeth like an angler fish? Not sure... lots of variants but something closer to teh 5e or 3.5 beholder would be awesome for sure
