I've been trying out different ways to split figures, always trying to find a better way to balance good quality prints with my laziness when it comes to cleaning supports off.

Thought I would show you how I have split one of the demons. (both will also come as one solid piece) I've done a test print and it was super easily to print and went together easily too. I'll post a image of the print after this post.

Would like to hear from you all if you have any thoughts about how you like things to be split for printing.

Looking Good! Maybe adding peg holes may help with alignment but that would just be a bonus! Pegs would need to be modelled and added though :)

I've been finding that sometimes the models go together better with out pegs and so thought I would do this one without. I going to try something a little different on the other demon and see which way seems to work better. Hope you don't mind me asking. Do you prefer figures when they have pegs or are solid?

With cooling variances, I have nothing but issues with pegs.

Yeah, you have a point... Technically your approach with solid flat slices would do ok too since it's not too much of a biggie to add notches & pegs in meshmixer but reversing that would be hard. :)

When trying out new ways of splitting figures I was thinking of some of our emails back and forth :)
