Community guidelines thing (don't panic!) (Patreon)

A couple days ago, my patreon was marked outside of the community guidelines or ToS. I don't know if it's affected how patrons view the page, but I think it's important I let you know about it! 

It was over some public posts from awhile ago that had NSFW in them (they were the ones with the two horse boys and triceratops babe, an idea that I really do need to revisit at some point). I understand what they're doing and I'm pretty thankful they gave me a warning about it instead of banning me all together. I decided to make all posts that were public as patron only, the reason I had them public in the first place was to entice people into subscribing, but it didn't really do much. And there weren't many public posts anyway.

But to try and prevent more bad stuff, I also censored the frozen pizza tier image.

So now, it looks like this:

I wanted to put it more into the SFW zone. Obviously, this is still suggestive, but a lot less so. It shouldn't be a problem! Even if it is, I've been thinking about redoing the patreon graphics anyway... just not so soon.

On that topic, I also started thinking about a new banner, just in case that's also too saucy. The email I got only mentioned 2 posts that were public and contained NSFW, but it also told me to review my page and content. Unfortunately too, the trust and safety folks don't work on the weekends so I'll have to wait until Monday to see if I'm still outside the community guidelines.

The new banner I'd use if the current one is no good is this:

I'd still like to add more stuff to it to make it cooler, but the general idea is to "blend" the Blender interface with the banner art. It's just too half-baked now, and I'm still not satisfied with the new V-Rex look.

Yeah I kinda got really into redoing my dragon sona. I just didn't like the old head- now keep in mind, I modeled the head originally to be viewed from the angle it's seen in in my avatar. So it looks not great at any other angle...

I looked at some other dragon art, and took some inspiration from this artist's dragon head style:

Mainly a more defined jaw and better ear/horn placement. I didn't re-model it, I did a lot of editing the shape of things. The eyes and ears I scrapped and remade entirely though. The current head and body look like this:

It's the body model I started awhile ago for that 10k follower on twitter art I wanted to do, but didn't like how it was coming along. It still needs some more work (I really want to define the cheeks near the tail more sharply, for example!) but it's good enough for the banner shot.

Anyway, that's I did yesterday and today. I'm not too happy I ended up spending all that time on this, but I am pretty happy with the result of V-rex so far!
