Hey hi folks! Hallowe'en is here and to continue my tradition of cosplaying indie game characters, I was inspired to dress up as Beast from 2016's game of the year Ladykiller in a Bind. Also, the full title reads like a light novel title, so it's only fitting.

I had a lot of fun putting together the core of the outfit (the vest, pants(!) and wig), finding the rest within my wardrobe. I already had a hand-me-down suit jacket, so finding a discount vest at a thrift store that marginally fit the visual theme of the jacket was a lucky shot. Though really, it was the only vest I found in that place that fit me.

The collar is actually the part of the costume I started out with, and it just so happens that I got it mainly because of my time with the game! (If you have time, I recommend looking at my writeup of it in the link above; that game means a lot to me.)

Also, a momentous occasion: this is the first time since coming out that I've worn actual pants. And it wasn't so bad! Honestly I've been wanting to wear a vest like this for years and years and it feels so wonderful to like the way I look in a suit. I've been exploring further and further when it comes to style lately and finding so many new looks to love.

Here's an outtake because I wanted at least one picture of me (with glasses) in a suit. I love having curves so much, good gosh. 💙

That's it for now; back to commission work and, of course, Cat Wishes! It's been a very stressful month but, with GaymerX East coming up as my last trip in a long while, I'll soon be back in a place where I can relax and work in earnest. And maybe put together more cosplays? I'm really taking a liking to the whole thing! ^^
