I am so very tired. I had planned to go to PAX Unplugged later in November, but finally decided to cancel it. GaymerX East will be my last non-local convention; after that weekend is done, I'll be taking a lot of rest because good gosh I need it.

I've never traveled so much in a year! Here are my events for 2017:

That's 14 events, 12 of which were out of town. I'm completely exhausted. But I'm so glad I got to attend them, and participate so many times! I've moderated panels, given talks, shared what I learned, and met so many wonderful people. I wanted to travel and good gosh I did it! After the last few upcoming engagements, though, I'm going to take some much-needed time at home.

And that means more books! Progress on my latest light novel, Cat Wishes, has been slower than I'd like, so dedicating more time to working here (or in various coworking spaces across Canada) should help get more done on that front. And then share those books with you all!

I've never been so inspired (I have enough material for three light novels right now) and I hope to get to the point where I can start collaborating with artists on books. Thanks for sticking with me, and thanks for helping me get this far! It's been a heck of a year so far and I'm eager to settle in a tiny bit and ramp up the work. Let's keep making wonderful things together. 💙
