Related to map creation, I've been playing around with the editor a bit. I have some feedback about it. Some just ideas, some questions, and some is issues I've had. If my understanding is correct though, we'll be getting a new version of the editor with this next demo release. If that's the case I'll probably hold off on the feedback for now until i see if any of it has changed or been resolved.

Huh, you should have gotten the new editor in your email, the one I was using during the stream with zoom in/out and map stretching, all the nodes and such on the side, did you not get it?

Jason Bill

I have the v0.18 editor. We should be getting a v0.19 one alongside the new demo, correct? The one i have now only has the electric grunt.

I've never gotten a link to the editor and I've been a patreon since day 1

FutureFragments

My records show you've never pledged at the $50 or above levels, only the $15 and $5 levels, so that's why you've never gotten the editor :P

FutureFragments

The v0.18 editor yep, I'll be sending v0.19; if you can, PM me those issues and we might be able to fix them before sending out the v0.19 editor :)

Ok. So you have to be rich. And not a avid supporter. Got it.

FutureFragments

It doesn't really have anything to do with being an avid supporter or being rich. I'm assuming you're talking about getting the $50 reward for having pledged $50 in total, and there's a reason why we don't do that. If we did that reward that way, to avoid confusion with how other rewards worked, we'd need to give out other rewards once you'd pledged that amount also. If we did this, we would have well over 600+ people entered in at the $15 level, and even more at the $10 level. This would be a massive problem because the majority of people who had now gotten those rewards would never be able to get their rewards because we simply can't fit their information in the game. Another problem arising from this is that sending out emails every time someone got to a specific milestone reward-wise would be something that would be a nightmare in terms of keeping track of who'd gotten to certain levels and whether or not we'd sent them a reward email, and I wouldn't want to flood people with emails by accident. That's why we set the reward tiers as we did; if we gave them away at the levels we did now, the above problems would happen, so the only counter to this would be to raise the prices of everything dramatically so those tiers didn't get flooded (and it doesn't solve problem #2, either). We did mention this though in the front page information and in other posts that you'd have to pledge to a tier specifically to get that reward, but if you'd like a full refund, we can still do that, of course.

as well, people will just do the minimum donation and sooner or later you will get it all. and that can not only greatly lengthen the production of the game. why should I do $20 a month then the $5 will get the same thing as me? ill just drop to $5.

But don't you think that people who pledge at least once at the $5 level for example should continue getting demos even if they drop down later? I've given you around $30 now, which is the one time purchase price of PUBG early access, for example, which is, no offense, a much higher quality game than this.
