Sketchbook 025 (Patreon)

I'm not entirely happy with the look of the first page of UNCHANGED, so I went back to the drawing board and spent some time experimenting with some relatively simple greyscale shading. It ended up being a good excuse to have fun again with some off-the-cuff sketching, like I did so often pre-hiatus. There's another one of these soon to be finished and posted, and then I'll probably revise UNCHANGED page 01 to make it look like this before continuing on with the rest of the comic.

In other news, someone on DeviantArt posted stolen content from here and from my Gumroad, sending me into a furious/anxious/demoralizing tailspin for a few days :) :) :) But then I had the pleasure of slapping my first DMCA takedown on them, and they immediately decided to delete their profile. The joys of doing creative work online, I guess.

UPDATE: Changed the piece from greyscale to a warm rust monochrome, which I think is more appealing. Let me know what you think!
