Hello Patrons!! Today, June 4, I turn on my PC and I write on the keyboard again after 21 days of total absence. 

I did not tell you before because in that moment I did not feel the needs to share something  that was very intimate for me ... my mind was focused only on how to deal with this thing and handle my fears about it, but now that the worst moments have passed, and I'm fine again, I'll explain why I'm gone. 

On May 15th I had a day hospital, on the 16th I was hospitalized, on the 17th I had a surgery ( the first in my life) . 

I was convalescing for 15 days and on June 1 the doctor took away the stitches ( forgetting one ... removed today XD )! Finally I am free from the pain and I can move my arms! :D 

I could not do anything because I was open from side to side under the  arms, under my breast ( to the right and to the left), so I could not move any arm and it was all very difficult and painful  :(  But my fiancè Marco did everything for me, he was my nurse ^_^ ! 

Every 3-4 days I asked Gianluca to keep an eye here and tell me the situation, like... if the Patrons complained about my absence... but seems it is alright! Thank you!! :D

I'm fine today, finally I can go back to work and I can close another issue forever! I want to share with you the joy that in my country (Italy)...there are so many problems and faults ... but health care is good and the necessary surgical interventions are all covered by health insurance, it is all free for Italians and for foreigners ( I have to pay only home medications). So if you come to Rome and you will have a stroke, do not worry XD you will not pay a penny (as the American tourist my father's roommate who was terrified of the fee! And the doctor told him " Don't worry, it's free! We saved your life gratis! " XD ) This is a positive aspect of Italy  :)

I'm alright and I can't wait to drawing again, for you and for me :D!

Oh my god! D: I hope you're doing okay now, Vanessa. :< There's something else I wanted to tell you. Last month I became a $19, and it was awesome. :D While there was no updates since your video process post, I enjoyed reading the PBB Legacy comic (Chapter 1). ^o^ Sadly, I had to downgrade to a $1 tier reward. ;-; Not because I don't want to support you (You're an amazing artist Vanessa! :D), but because I'm spending a lot of money to support another artist that I like as well. Also....I'm going into surgery later in the year myself. @_@ However, I do hope to go back to the $19 tier once I get back from surgery. :) Anyways, I hope you're doing fine (and resting nicely ^_^). I can't wait to see more pages of PBB Next, and I hope you have a great day, Vanessa! :D P.S. May I make a suggestion? o.O I would recommend to promote the PBB Next Discord. I didn't know where to communicate with the other members until I read one of your earlier posts. For being a first time patron, you're community is really nice. :D If you promote the discord group more often for newcomers, they'll stay a lot longer because of the community you have. ^-^ Take care! I'm very happy that you're okay, Vanessa. I simply assumed that your absence was due to you being very busy, and had no idea you were going through something like this. Fortunately, my shock turned into relief while reading your post. It's especially nice to read how you won't have to worry about paying for the surgery, and that Marco and Gianluca have been helping you at home and here at Patreon. It's good to know that you are being well taken care of :) And it's fantastic to see your positive attitude and your commitment to drawing the comic. You're unstoppable :-D

Hi Kanabe! Thank you very much for your post!! Really is not a problem about money, I trust in you, feel free to help other artist because they deserve as well the support! I would do it too but now I have not much saves, but in the future I wish to commission short stories to other artists and pay the right! And I'm thinking that you Patrons could suggest me your favorited artist with some polls! :D But this when I will gain enough money to afford it, as you notice my actual jar on Patreon is not a secret XD Oh and yes, there is an official PBB Next Discord! You do probably missed it ;)
