So, I've (James) been doing a lot of writing and reading lately and came up with an idea....would y'all be interested in doing a book club where I publish monthly short stories y'all can comment on, publish other people's stories maybe once or twice a month, and do book reviews and different things like that.

Personally, I'm not interested. But even if the majority isn't interested, I'd say do it anyway. The feedback will still help, even if it's not from most of us. Though I hope most ARE interested in it.

For sure would be interested. Definitely would love reading your short stories, and remember really enjoying your Harry Potter book reviews, so content of that sort sounds great.

2023-05-10 18:49:35 I'll be honest I'm a bit hesitant as I don't know what type of stuff you plan on writing/reviewing but I'm open minded + it'll make your channel more unique (please don't stretch yourself too thin though). The feedback could also help with your writing & inspire more people to get into reading. I say start out with a test run to see how people respond & also to see what works best for your schedule. Maybe to make things easier for you, you could read a book based off a movie you've already watched. That way there's already a garenteed audience & you'd be more secure in knowing you'll (most likely) like the story, while still getting the pleasure of all the details that usually get left out of movies. I would highly recommend The Hunger games serise as people often stick to only watching the movies but the books have become very popular again on Tiktok (+ then you could read the prequel before/after the new movie comes out). Like for each of the books that you cover you could also submit one of your short stories for us to discuss. Just an idea though, obviously do whatever makes you most comfortable.
