Fury, unless yall seen it already. Oh! or if you want a tearjerker, The Bombardment. The Zookeepers Wife is a good one too tho they're is a scene in there that's a little...rough. All Quiet on the Western Front is a good one, with the original audio. Unbroken is goated. just some suggestions.

I recommend Platoon and Full Metal Jacket as well as Das Boot and All Quiet on the Western Front (original audio).

Along with Apocalypse Now there are some more classic big budget war films that are considered the gold standard in war films. Tora Tora Tora, Patton, The Longest Day, Guns of Navarrone

Ugh how did I not think of this one but what about Letters from Iwo Jima. You may have heard of Flag of Our Father's, the book/movie written about the stories of the men who raised the American Flag over Iwo Jima written by one of their sons. Well he made a movie about the Japanese side of the battle using I believe letters from the Japanese soldiers. Beyond that I reiterate: -Hacksaw Ridge -Patton -lone survivor -Flags of our fathers

I haven’t seen many war movies because I just think they would make me sad. Saving Private Ryan and Dunkirk were the only war movies I’ve seen. I remembered watching Saving Private Ryan, just the opening of it in high school and I couldn’t get into it that time because it was so intense and I was already getting upset over it but then I ended up watching the whole movie a while ago and I actually liked it, still depressing though but the movie was good. The only reason why I wanted to watch Dunkirk is because Harry Styles is in it 😂, but this movie was really good too and hopefully Dunkirk wins!

All Quiet on the Western Front (2022) is a must see war movie. Just saw it for the first time in 4K. Beautiful film. But watch the German audio version with subtitles if you do.
