Jaws is a good summer movie. Better summer movie? The Sandlot

jonathan Edge

It's because Jaws became the first film to be called a blockbuster and it redefined the creature feature for modern audiences at the time . Anything that is directed by Stephen Spielberg from the 70's to early 2000's was considered a classic to be seen and talked about for years to come .

Come on white noise fans let’s turn this boat around . We have got bigger fish to fry. Let’s terminate the fish movie and make a crusade for a better movie or else “Forget about it “.

Vasto

Really Jaws this movie today looks like a comedy, everything else is much much better option.

Terminator is the best of the bunch… too bad.

Nick Nangle

Linda Wightman

To be honest I would be happy with any of these.

Goodfellas is an instant vote for me

In my opinion , all but Kingdom Of Heaven are worthy to be called classics . They broke ground in their respective genres and made the directors names to be remembered . Jaws equals the quality of Terminator and Goodfellas . They tell very gripping and emotional stories , have interesting characters and will have you talking about them long after they are over . There is no best . All 3 are great in their own way .

I know Terminator is popular...I personally found the first movie underwhelming. If Terminator 2 was up I would choose that over Jaws. However, for me at least, Jaws is more than a mindless blockbuster. You can learn a thing or two about suspense so I look forward to your reaction to this. One day I hope to see some Hitchcock in the polls, you can learn a ton from his movies :)

Aww man...I'd love to rewatch at least REBECCA (1940) with you guys!
