This week has mostly focused on two aspects: Advancing the plot line to gain access to Arwin's festival (purity version) and moving forward with the map upgrades to our new tileset. We have also gained a new contributor, Dragonbait, who has upgraded a bunch of the RTP maps.

In terms of the main plot, I finished the side quest Papertrail, which allows you to bring Edwin's standing to 3. You are then given two options, either to get a bunch of money, or to ask him to get into Arwin's party. In the following week, I will be writing a follow-up event to the Young Merchant date which will be the non-purity way of accessing the party.

Regarding maps, we made quite a leap forward towards upgrading most of them. Trademond interiors, the last Forest of Runes map, and several other minor locations are now looking much, much nicer.

That being said, getting everything to work with the new maps was quite a load of work and it's possible that I caused quite some bugs in some events. I think I checked most events involving movement, but its possible I overlooked some. Also I would like to note that bridges in the new tileset are a hell to get right. :D :D :D

Regarding the CG progress, I have already posted in the public patch update today, that Kissing John is currently in the sketching phase. Looking at the remaining time until 0.9.0 I think we have a good chance of getting one more small commission into the release. Technically, the slime scene is number 3, but I think that would be too much. I will therefore commission a variation of the Aura's character portrait where she flashes her panties. Primarily for the alchemist lewd scene.

Finally, I have working a little bit on the systems side. You will find that the new Cursed I,II, III states now also affect the minimum lewdness requirements. This way we can get some effects of willpower loss without directly going full pink. There is a new mental change, which originally was supposed to reduce Aura's rejection of lying. But I decided do change it and going along with the previous changes ot the cursed states, also have it reduce the minimum lewdness requirements by 1. So for  example, the slime summoner is lewdness 5, but with this change it will drop to lewdness 4. This gives the Alicia side an early move for infuencing lewd scenes. Originally, I wanted to avoid these until the second chamber, but I think handing out one for the first chamber to allow for some better role playing is fine.

Oh right, and finally, finally, as I had also announced in the public patch, I wasn't able to make all my bug and typo fixes public due to the divergence of public and prerelease build. So the prerelease also contains a bunch of new bugfixes. The compiled list of all changes this week, public and prerelease, is listed down below.

i dont know if anyone else has been having this problem but with i get to the scene where you first meet desmond fighting the bandits the game errors screen pops up after trying to load back from the flashback of boarhut
