We just watched our president's speech on TV tonight. From tomorrow on, France will impose a near-total lockdown and the EU is to ban foreigners entering the bloc for 30 days in a great effort to curb the rapid spread of the coronavirus outbreak.

“We are at war – a public health war, certainly but we are at war, against an invisible and elusive enemy,” Macron said.

Well, the everyday truth is that I haven't stepped outside our apartment for more than 2 days, and it certainly doesn't feel like war at home. I read more comics than ever before and Joe spent a lot of time on the phone with his family and friends. And we get enough food in stock so no need to join the panicking crowd who rushes into stores. So far, so good...

Here in France, most people will work from home now. Can't believe how fast things change. If nobody is going to the library, why do you guys still need to go?

It’s almost lockdown here. Am working flex hours to stager commuting so no rush hour and crowding. Come in @ 10:30 leave at 7:00 Monday through Thursday. Love it. Streets are empty, gym empty. Starting my new fashion house. Yippee.

California basically is on lock down. All I can say is grocery delivery service is a blessing. I’m not a stocker of food. May you all be safe & stay healthy

Our company has said we can all work from home, which is a good move for them. I have to so I am on Joe's side of doing things!

Calgary is on the verge of declaring a state of emergency too. Never thought I'd see it happen. I'm planning on going into work this week now that my sinus infection is getting better, but my boss sent me home tonight with a spare computer so if need be I can start working from home. A lot of people in our office have already decided to work from home.
