And with this the opening questline for human princess is fully implemented from beginning to finish! The art stuff still needs to be touched up, but the writing should all be in there!

Once again thank you so much for getting us to this point, everyone, we couldn't have done it without your help! In the coming months we hope to refine things further and perhaps work on making a coherent starting tutorial section that will make this all flow much better.

Additions

  • The final third of the Forest Human’s questline has been added! Things have been happening back at the capital while the Human Princess was away...
    • If you’ve completed the restoration quests you should be able to select an option to “admire the progress” you made in the North Woods where you’ll receive a message from the capital informing you of some recent developments.

Changes

  • Certain scripted battles will allow you to take a custom army into the fight if a player owned army is on the same spot Ser is when he enters into the battle.
    • Make sure to build your army up before heading into any potential combat situations as you just might need it. (hint hint)
    • Keep in mind that marching armies into other territories is seen as an act of agression! To bring an army into a scripted battle on another kingdom’s territory, blockade that territory until Ser arrives and on the Territory screen select Enter Location rather than clicking on the Battle tab.

Fixes

  • A few hint and tooltip messages have been updated for clarity and accuracy.
  • Dialogue background should no longer reset when transitioning between different separate dialogue files.
  • Wine Knight should no longer hang around after returning to the High Forest.
  • A couple of dialogue errors have been fixed.

Known Bugs

  • If a second building is queued in a territory, the territory will try and build the first building again. Save/loading before queuing a second building should bypass this issue until it is fixed. Failing to do this will result in the second building being impossible to create.
  • Siege shield is not a set size and redirects to the siege view instead of the territory view, but territory view can still be found by selecting ‘blockade territory.’
  • There is a rare glitch where armies will take the ‘long way,’ zipping off to (0,0) before teleporting to their final destination. They will still get there… eventually.
  • For the time being, if you refuse or delay the Human Princess’ requests to ‘exit’ the quest, it will boot you out of the dialogue and you will be unable to continue.
  • In a ‘GameOver’ situation, the siege is not ended properly and directly reloading from the gameover screen will result in a crash upon the next siege battle. Resetting the game and loading from the main menu will circumvent this issue until it is fixed.
