The Dwarven Kingdoms date back beyond recorded history, and their mines are named for their immensity more than their confusing layouts. The Dwarves were some of the first to discover the powers of the ancient towers, finding some buried deep beneath the surface, and using the knowledge from them to build one of the first civilizations in known history. As the Elves ruled the South West, and the Beastfolk the South East, the Dwarves ruled the north until the rise of human kind and the High Forest Kingdom.
