From Chris: I'll say this, the video is absolute reference quality. The Dolby  Vision encode isn't flashy but the laser-sharp definition is some of the  best-looking live-action footage I've ever seen. They gave the  soundtrack Dolby Atmos but it's almost entirely a dialogue-driven drama.

Early  1930s period piece set in the aristocratic Lord Grantham's estate and a  little jaunt to the South of France, continuing the adventures of all  the characters from the show's first six seasons and prior movie.  Sprawling and safe, this is comfort food for the show's fans. A wedding,  a death, and a surprise proposal are the big events with a couple of  cheap head-fakes thrown in for good measure. Rips off the basic premise  of Singin' In The Rain as one sub-plot covers the film's industry  transition from silent to talking pictures.
