From Chris: Invigorating Japanese film inspired by one of my very favorite directors, French director Eric Rohmer. This is actually three short films by the same writer/director, a respected name in Japanese cinema. All involving love, coincidence and imaginative scenarios.

This isn't a film I would have sought out if I wasn't a reviewer but it's compelling stuff for a quiet drama with almost nothing happening beyond dialogue between two characters most of the time. Authentic, human and deeply intelligent stuff.
