From Chris: My favorite cartoon series of all time. It probably doesn't quite  reach the highs of Batman: The Animated Series but is more consistent.  Classic takes on just about every character. More importantly, just  about the purest and most streamlined Superman storytelling the  character has received in 80+ years. My appreciation for it has only  grown over the years and I fear we'll never get anything like it again.

Best  Lois, best Lex, great Clark - only thing I would have done differently  is make Superman a bit stronger and more important. He gets beat up by  practically every 2-bit villain. Timm has admitted in retrospect he  should have made Superman stronger.

Better than  expected video quality, large leap over the DVDs I own. Better  transfers than the one done for Batman: The Animated Series, which had  more problematic animation/surviving elements.
