From Chris: Absolutely gorgeous, new film transfer by Paramount. Easily ready as-is for UHD release - the studio seems to be sitting on a trove of striking 4K transfers that won't ever hit UHD. Shout Factory does what it can without any participation from         Cronenberg.

I first watched The Dead Zone on its crummy first DVD, probably back in the 1990s. I can still remember how terrible and flat it looked. This is one of the biggest upgrades over DVD I can remember.

For my money, one of the best movies ever adapted from a Stephen King novel. Ranks up there with Misery, The Green Mile and Salem's Lot.
