“Yrel?” The Garrison Commander spoke to her hesitantly, because she had been somewhat cold to him lately. The woman still responded to his advances, but there was definitely something off. She was not the same, cute, naive, cheery girl that he had saved and recruited.

“M-hmm?” Yrel nodded to the human so as to not completely ignore him, but she did not show much interest. The draenei was bent over, leaning on one of the chest-high stable flaps that managed to obscure her body from her breast down to her calves. It was convenient because her tight leggings were rolled down somewhat restrictively around her thighs to the point that she was bound in place. Chaz was also present, yet obscured. He barely had a grip around her wide hips and was almost swinging himself to hammer into her exposed pussy. With each thrust her soft rear bounced him back and allowed him to swing back in for another deep push.

“Are you okay? You look distracted and...” He inspected her but could not see anything of note beyond what was visible above her chest and bellow her knees.
“Out of breath.” She was almost panting, but was definitely exhaling and moving slightly, as though she was antsy.

“I am fine. What is it?” Yrel questioned impatiently.

“I've been thinking about us.” He began. Yrel closed her eyes to avoid showing him that they were rolling.
“It's probably been rather unfair for you. I have my duties and you have yours so our diverted attentions have culminated in neither of us having much time.”

Yrel smiled, her tail casually wrapping around Chaz'a back as it felt like he was going to lose grip and slip out. Once he had regained his grip and started thrusting once more she released him and only then nodded to the Paladin.
“Oh... Yes. Quite a shame. I agree, though.” It was good news, because she took it as him announcing that they should no longer pursue one another, which she was all for.

“That's why I've decided that I'll just pursue you exclusively!”

“What?” Yrel narrowed her eyes at him. He was normally quite open about his attempts to sleep with other attractive members of the garrison. She cared at first, but not after she met Chaz because, obviously, she had other things on her mind.

“I'll have all the time in the world to court you, so you can just tell me when you are free. Isn't that great?” He leaned in for a kiss.

“Great...” Yrel reluctantly leaned the rest of the way. The two locked lips and even the fact that Chaz was railing her from behind while she was kissing the Commander was not enough to cheer her up.

The Commander breathed a sigh of relief. “Well that is a load off my chest! Do we have time now? Seems like you're relaxing.”

“I was just about to get back to-” Her eyes almost crossed and the Draenei shuddered as Chaz nutted inside of her.
“W-work.”

“Is it cold?” The Commander asked.

“A little. Maybe go send a mission out to procure furs.”

“Good idea! This is why you're my second in command.” He winked and walked off quickly towards the main building with a proud stride.

“Light...” Yrel grunted. Chaz had already climbed off of her, allowing Yrel to wiggle her hips a little as she struggled to roll her leggings up and over. Her tail nimble poked through the hole designed for it.

“That man is so annoying and will only become more annoying, now. Is it a problem?” She questioned, glancing down at the goblin cleaning himself up.

“Seems like an issue, but it was always gonna be an issue.” Chaz explained. He considered the problem already and was able to quickly offer up reassurance.
“You know, I've been expecting something along these lines. I can take care of it.”

“You mean it?” Yrel gasped excitedly. The goblin was doing what goblins were meant to do in her mind. Taking care of their livestock.

“That is perfect. I did not want to be distracted from my meeting with the Naaru.”

“What's this one about? Thought you said the Chandelier was playin' hard ball?” Chaz began flipping through his contacts as they spoke.

“With the Legion finally showing their hand I believe I can begin to subtly sell her on my ideas.” Yrel claimed excitedly. Chaz became hard just thinking about it. He hadn't said anything. He just moved her in all the right directions. Yrel came to the conclusion on her own that draenei made natural junior 'partners' to goblins. It was the culmination of weeks of effort. The first conquest of her race had been a short one in the other world but somehow the time spent just made this one seem so much more satisfying to him. He was sure his colleagues would agree.

“You are not wrong, child.” The Naaru admitted. The orcs had given in to temptation once they were close to defeat, bringing the Legion to the forefront. It was an outcome that everyone was waiting for, but nobody could truly predict the extent of the takeover.

“Is it finally time for you to aid me in the transformation of my people?” Yrel asked nervously. She was  still somewhat pensive about the way in which she was going to sell what she had to the Naaru. The creature could easily catch on and shut her down.

“I believe in this grave hour it may finally be time to activate the army of light.” The Naaru said with heavy chimes behind her words.

“For this we require a pure warrior. A representation of what this army will be forged into through the light.” Yrel nodded along hesitantly. She felt less and less confident. She did not think she was pure of intention, body or soul. She was worried that she may have accidentally kickstarted a serious contender against her own goals depending on who was picked.
“I believe that woman is you, Yrel.”

“Eh?” She was pleased, but definitely surprised. It showed her that the Naaru were not as vast in their knowledge and wisdom as she thought. It was both comforting and discomforting all at once.

The Naaru leaned closer and almost seemed to loom over her. “You will be forged and provide the template for others who will follow you. They will reap the rewards of your extensive training and meditation!” The Naaru sounded very serious.
“Your example will be followed by all!”

“Eh!?” Yrel leaned back. It was happening very quickly in a way she did not expect.

“Do not fight it, child.” The Naaru chimed foreboding chords as she began to infuse Yrel with light from a near endless source. The draenei screamed as her body grew and became more solid. She felt stronger overall, but not just that. She felt different. It was not a bad kind of different, either. It was as if everything she had worked for had simply become more. As the Naaru delved deeper into Yrel's psyche she leaned back.
“Wait... This is a bit...” If beings of energy could blush, she would have. Chimes became discordant, but the ceremony could not be stopped.

Y'ana had jumped at the opportunity to enter the forging process. She had been a temple guard for all her life and had trained to fight the Legion and it's allies. When the time came to volunteer she opted for it, no matter what she stood to lose. She was among a handful that had been picked by the Naaru to be forged the moment the time came. A trusted few. All of them were aware that the moment it happened they would be different. They would be draenei, but entirely separate from the race that they were before.

It was common knowledge that different races had different traits and advantages. It was a universal constant. Just like abilities and skills and talents, those traits could be read and quantified. Doing so required some scrying, however and as a new 'race' the lightforged were unsure of who they were or what they could do in terms of raw power. Only the Naaru knew the truth the moment they were created. With Yrel as the sample the lightforged were given an increase to goblin relations, a bonus to Stamina and two passive racial abilities. One that granted goblins the ability to 'partner' with the draenei and another that permanently respecialized and locked those specializations upon partnership.

Y'ana took one proud step out the front gate of Karabor into the public area and immediately felt a pain in her back that had her bending over. Gradually she just fell forward, flat onto all four hooves. Her forged armor faded and retreated from her pale skin until it was merely a saddle that was affixed to the gold plates lining her sides, a collar around her neck and some pieces that would be more befitting a mount than a Paladin.  She thought it would be awkward, but surprisingly she was able to easily step on all fours towards a nearby goblin that looked as surprised as she was. She approached him more like a creature than a person, with all the intelligence of a sentient being; minus some important faculties.
“Do... You know what is happening small one?” For some reason she was just drawn to him.

“Uh, no... I just got a weird feeling and went with it.” He looked her over. He was nervous because of the sanctions. There was supposed to be no talk of draenei mounts in the new universe, but there was one that literally transformed before his eyes and walked right up to him as though she was a deer waiting to be fed at one of those reserves that sets up a free kill.
You okay?” He asked pensively.

Y'ana was confused at first but felt more and more okay by the second. She beamed at the goblin and lifted her head proudly.
“I understand! You are joining the Light!”

The goblin chuckled nervously. “What's that entail.” He looked around to see if there was anyone else. There was not. He was only there because he heard a rumor that there were real gems lining the walls and that they were unattended most of the time.

Y'ana knew the answer intuitively. “You join and fight the Legion as my rider. My one and only Master!” She stood proudly on all fours. Her entire world had shifted so quickly and jarringly. She felt like she was being controlled but the reality was that her personality had simply flipped.

“No thanks...” The goblin uttered with shifty eyes. He was not interested in fighting, though a mount sounded nice. He also did not want to get into trouble so the obvious answer was a resounding no.

“What?” Y'ana blinked. She felt strange against as her whole body gradually shifted back. Her hooves returned to hands and her armor, unfortunately for the perverted goblin, expanded to cover her breasts and cunt. She narrowed her eyes at him, but could not fault him too much. Though she had never had a liking for goblins she wanted to give this one a pass.
“I understand. If you ever change your mind you should come back and partner with someone.”

“Uh, yeah, sure thing toots.” He waved her off dismissively.

Y'ana got up from a kneel and huffed. As the glow of being partnered faded she returned completely to normal. She began to wonder intensely what happened as more of her personality returned and allowed her to feel the situation was actually very strange. She turned around to walk away from the shifty looking man, then turned back at the last second to see him looking wide-eyed over at her guiltily with a chisel in his hand. He was angled towards one of the gems in the wall.
“You need a better chisel. Something with power behind it.” She explained, not minding at all that he was intending to steal.

“Uh, yeah, sure. Can you go away, doll?” He shot back at her harshly.

“Yeah...” Y'ana furrowed her brow and began to leave, her shoulder's slumping as she distanced from him. The girl felt jilted that the goblin had no interest in her. It left her alone with her thoughts trying to make sense of why she was sad that she was not made into a mount by a goblin.

“Child WHAT have you done?” The Naaru questioned.

Yrel smiled awkwardly and shrugged. “I do not know.” She lied.

“You can not deceive me!” The Naaru boomed.

Yrel finally took that as a signal to bite back. “Apparently I CAN. You were so eager to forge my people into mindless zealots that you did not even stop to question what I had become before you forged me. Now you are left with what YOU have done.” Yrel announced proudly. The Naaru showed in it's shrinking demeanor that it knew Yrel was correct. The entity had not only showed it's hand but had done so improperly.
“So what will you do?”

The Naaru had no throat and could not make a gulping sound but the low drip-like chimes coming from the thing made that impression.
“I do not even know what I am looking at...” It trailed off.

Yrel felt an opportunity and grinned. “It is simple. Let me explain it to you slowly. I believe this is beneficial for you and my people. I will tell you exactly how and why I have come to this conclusion.”

Nice chapter. I do hope Y'ana now can resist being automatically affected.
