Interesting anti-Siren strat. Just persistently sing loudly and off-key to disrupt them and make them give up and leave. LOL. About the squid and octopus.... I'm half Japanese, so I've had plenty in my life. Obviously there's sashimi and sushi, but I've also had a good deal of calamari (fried squid). Really good.

I enjoy fried octopus from time to time. Also, the parasite and how it was prepared reminded me a lot of how cooked eel looks. Eel is probably my favorite seafood.

What's crazy is it actually ended up looking exactly like broiled eel (or unagi in Japanese). Unagi is actually REALLY good, though it's expensive, so I don't get to have it much. Because of its intense flavor, it goes great over a large bowl of rice (which is known as "unagi donburi").

From what I've read, it seems like the other party overtook them because they're able to rely on rations, and don't have to stop to hunt and cook their meals hahaha But slow and steady wins the race! Grilled squid is nice! I think Marcille was the MVP this episode. Especially getting up in the middle of the night to heal Laios
