Absolutly fantastic episode. For me Frieren quickly became my favourite anime dethroning Monogatari after a long, long time. What makes it soooo unbelievably good is obviously a whole package, music, animation, characters, fights and so on. However what makes it special are small details. Frieren recommended Stark to order egg omelette which would be irrelevant is any other anime but not here. Himmel ordered the same dish when they visited the restaurant in the past :)

I think the old lady wasn't Richter's actual grandma, it's just an affectionate term for any elderly lady It is pretty funny how separate the home and work lives are for some haha I like how Frieren was immediately willing to recommend a dish to Stark; she had faith that the taste would be preserved! Even after eighty years or so

I am with fern on this one! Without her and stark sometimes they would be 3 years behind schedule and starving half the time. Maybe dont bottle up and explode tho.
