Thanks for the react as always!

another fantasy style anime masterpiece in Mushoku Tensei, but on the other end of the wholesome spectrum from Frieren. Nevertheless, insanely good world building and linking of character stories.

I got there lol

I think the Patreon linked the wrong song because the song you listened to in this video was not "Inori no Uta" the 4th Opening, but "Keishou no Uta" the 3rd Opening of the anime. I don't know who mixed something up here.

Alright Tony, who stepped on your musical toes and tried to gatekeep you. We'll get Aerix to give them a very stern talking.

So the peaceful feeling from this one is because Mushoku Tensei handles their openings differently than most shows, in that there are no openings. Instead what they do is have part of the show at the beginning have the music over it as they show some establishing scenery and maybe non-dialogue scenes and theyll then put the title splash at the end of it. When you watch it you cant skip openings because theyre part of the show. Every few episodes a new story arc will begin and they have a new song which fits that story and region better. The music therefore is veeeeeery thematic and cinematic rather than the traditional jpop/jrock openings. I got there.

I dig the format of a dry playthrough first then analysis.
