As the creepy blonde guy said, "it's been 30 minutes already?" meaning the veil keeping Gojo out had a restriction of self destructing after half an hour. Gojo probably was smart enough to realize that and just waited around until he could start blasting lol. Honestly I can't blame you for not catching that because the first time I read the manga I thought the same as you, that Gojo simply shattered the veil. And I just went with it.

Didn't the veil lift because patchface "completed his mission"? The veil lifting could as well be a signal for retreat, since the timing is so specific. Thinking about it even more, the more conditions you put on a vail, the strongest it is, so "Lock Gojou Satoru out until I complete my mission" makes for a reeeeally strong veil.

Gojo's power level is off of the charts. No grading system (special, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade) can fit him basically, although gojo is technically a special grade.

Either way works as the movie was written before what we got in those first 5 eps of season 2. So I feel like it should be up to Tony’s preference.

i think after S2 E5 is definitely worth doing just because most reactors haven't seen it in that order as they watch jjk when it airs, and it'd be interesting to see it watched in that order instead i think.

I think it's more reasonable that he watches it in the order they were released (S1, movie, S2) because seeing things in that order gives you certain expectations and emotional investment. It's like you could watch Star Wars in chronological order (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) but I would still argue release order starting with 4 is better, just to use a widely known example.

I agree. Having not read the manga I definitely had more emotional investment and curiosity during season 2 having watched the movie straight after season 1
