i recommend the sub for death note. Dub has its moments, but the Sub is way more consistent

Is it an unpopular opinion to just think Death Note is good? Seems to be VERY popular in the react part of the internet. Just surprised something like Made In Abyss didn't make it here yet considering the music connection, but of course there's always next time

Yeah not saying MIA isn't talked up a lot too, just that you I don't know that you've heard much Death Note music and I recall you saying that music is what really gets you into shows. If you watch Death Note though no complaints, it's a quality show

MIAB is IMO far too twisted to be mainstream and frankly has some pretty sketchy content in it anyway that are beyond inappropriate. Death Note I tried to watch but my interest fell off like a rocket after a couple eps... watched a lot of other stuff but those two just didnt' do it for me for different reasons.

Also a recommendation is Macross Frontier, a space opera where peace is maintained thanks to music. It was a 25th anniversary edition of the original anime, so they made an effort with the soundtrack.

The only reason why Jojo became mainstream is because of Golden wind OST and the memes. Most of the fanbase used to only be diehard manga fans.

Hibike Euphonium! OMG! That's one of my favorite anime of all time! You'll love it. The animation is gorgeous.

excited for euphonium, remeber trying to watch it back in the day, i think i got around the first season but never finished. Hope to see the full anime here with you
