His main hangout is a space Hooters. That aside Space dandy is an amazing series that was created by a studio with the goal to train and allow a different person in the studio to lead an episode and to "create the story and sequence they've always dreamed of". It's also the reason we are able to have simulcast / subs and dubs coming out at the same time. Space dandy was the first to do it AND was the first anime to premiere in the west BEFORE it reached japan. Making the DUB the proper way

Omg I remember this!!! This music video came out before the anime and I was so hyped. Watanabe used to be a big name cause he made Cowboy Bebop. Also I think this was the first ever simuldub, it aired on Japanese and American TV almost around the same time. nerding out- I was disappointed in a good way after watching Space Dandy if that makes sense. Space Dandy is just charming and experimental but I was expecting something akin to Samurai Champloo or Bebop :(. His works after 2010 (space dandy, kids on the slope, terror in resonance) are just good.. but his old stuff (bebop/champloo), there was nothing like it other than maybe some great mecha anime. These two along with some mechas was nearly everybody's most favorited anime until death note came out.

Space dandy is comedy gold. If you ever watch Cowboy Bebop (which you will I don’t know why I’m saying if) then you’ll wanna pick this up eventually too. It’s made by the same creator, but while Bebop is a sometimes fun sometimes depressing exploration of trauma and what it means to truly live. Space Dandy is like tripping on LSD while watching Bebop

Hell yea just watched, thanks for covering it. I enjoyed your tangent cuz yeah - I really love listening to some modern musicians/bands like Polyphia, etc who flex impressive technical skill with speed and seemingly not much effort, but the percussive style of a funk guitarist who just adds in a few twangs in all the right spots is still so sick and fun to listen to. And I can definitely see what you mean about having versatility, and the willingness to stay in your lane instead of needing to be the star, giving a worker way more jobs. I guess TikTok views are more glamorous than traveling and playing gigs though. Or it's really just a hobby for them to throw out some cool riffs here and there and that's it, idk. Anyway thanks again sir! Enjoy your weekend
