Here's the time-lapse of that Supergirl piece I posted earlier today! First time doing this so if there are any issues (video isn't loading, blurry/pixilated, too fast, too slow, too big, too small, etc...) please LMK so I can improve it for next time.

This piece took me about 2.5 hrs to do. I kept it pretty loose and sketchy and as you can see, completely skipped any penciling stage and went straight to inks. I'm hoping to use a similar approach as I work on my graphic novel to save me time. Also kept to minimal layers:

This is the slowest speed I could save the video at. I wanted to be sure you could see as much as my thought process as possible (including how I completely forgot about my signature until the very end). This drawing came out pretty quick, but usually that rough, planning out stage can take a while.

I save a sped-up version I might post to the social nets if only to entice folks to check out this Patreon, but for the most part these time-lapses will be patron exclusives.

Just amazing. It was fun to watch all the times you changed your mind about posing, the capes, etc. in the early part of the sketching.

Haha. Yup! Usually there's a lot more than that, but I was trying to be quick. Mostly testing out the time-lapse feature.

Welcome back! Glad you had a nice break and it was inspiring. I really like the way this is framed and it's really interesting to see how it's all laid out. I think I end up with too many layers sometimes. It also looks a lot smoother than photoshop, but I'm a bit scared of trying new things! ><
