Here's a simple hack to influence Dreamsurge votes on which 30 minute zone-wide buff the Dreamsurge offers: 

1. Go to the Dreamsurge location on the map - this is currently in Thaldrassus.

2. Vote.

3. Join a group and turn on party sync. Ypu'll find you can vote again. 

4. Turn off party sync.

This is niche but very useful in marginal situations where you want a specific buff eg the magpie buff which significantly increases gold returns.

Part of the reason I am posting this is because there is a credible rumor the magpie and possibly other buffs can be stacked creating very spectacular returns from gold quests. It seems to be related to phasing/sharding. I am hoping that by encouraging experimentation in this area someone can find the exact trigger or other useful exploits.
