If you are wondering why content has slowed down a bit in the last few days it has been because I've been devoting every waking moment to try to reverse-engineer the "invincible tank" glitch you might just have encountered in battlegrounds recently. Unfortunately it seems that no one can locate the exact trigger (including Blizzard who seem to have no idea how to fix this one).

I did however manage to make my Death Knight invincible for a three-hour period.  Here's what I do know if you want to pursue this (also see warning below):

The glitch only occurs on classes with tanking specs.

It seems to be related to queing as dps, then switching specs whilst the preparation buff stage of buff, between dps and tanking.

It may be related to switching between artifact and non-artifact weapons.

While the glitch only occurs on classes with tanking specs, once glitched any spec will retain invincibility.

It is likely related to the previous post I made on stamina boosting for tanks.

Nothing can hit while glitched but you can take damage from falling, also from the affliction lock ability Agony. You can be stunned and slowed.

It may be related to a weird effect that occurs when you quit a bg with a second or two on the time before you rez.  The resurrect now option persists through the exit of the battleground.

Once glitched you are invincible in all forms of pvp, including rated, arena and wpvp. However, you are not invincible to npc's, so don't raid Orgrimmar/Stormwind, the guards will kill you.

In one case someone who encountered the glitch thought it may be connected with pvp resilience. I was actually some gear with pvp resilience when I glitched it. However, this may well have just been coincidental as there were several reports and no one else mentioned resilience.

Once you log-out the effect is gone. You may wish to search the archives here for the afk macro I posted if you have to leave your computer.

Be warned: trying to reverse-engineer this glitch has taken 40 hours of my time and driven me slightly mad. That said, if you keep queing as dps, and switch to tank periodically in the preparation phase, and plays lots of randoms/arena you will likely trigger it eventually.
