(WoW Hardcore Classic) Glitch Farms For Grinding Fast (Patreon)
Content
WoW Classic Hardcore* is out on the 24th.
There are two locations which are very good for grinding in classic using specific glitches, especially in hardcore, which I have not seen mentioned anywhere else, that make it significantly easier to level up.
The first is Durnholde Keep in the east of Hillsbrad Foothills (20-31). This incarnation of Durnholde is filled with "Syndicate" mobs. The central area of the Keep is filled with prison huts and surrounded by raised stone walls. Ranged classes can stand on the lip of the stone walls and use ranged attacks to kill the watchmen melee classes (watchmen and rogues). Because of the way pathing works in classic it is very easy to kill the mobs before they can engage you as they take a long time to get out of the pit. All ranged classes can do this effectively though classes with a damage over time effect are especially good since the mobs go out of range after an initial attack.
The second is Horde-only. To give you an indication of how good this one is I am seriously considering rolling Horde for hardcore because of it.
in Arathi Highlands (level 30-40) there is a location in the north of the zone called Dabyrie's Farmstead. This has by far what is the best safe-spotting location in the whole of wow. The towers here have surrounding circular platforms which are very slightly raised off the ground. If you jump onto the platforms you cause mobs to evade.
It is almost impossible to die in this area no matter how many mobs are attacking provided you stay reasonably close to the towers. One simple jump, even when stunned, and you are out of combat. The mobs here re-spawn frequently.
(Fun fact: I discovered how to erase a mob from existence playing a priest here. Mind control an npc and force them to jump onto the tower. This causes them to cease to exist after a short while.)
*I'd appreciate any feedback on hardcore from patreons. Most of you signed up for retail content, but I like to share any valuable content with you. However I feel this type of article would be of interest to hardcore players, and I would like to share it publicly on youtube if this is not something patreons are receptive to.
(I am still working very hard on retail content also btw-I simply work harder when an incarnation of classic is released).
