The Best Consistent Gold Farm In WoW (Patreon)

The following is what has consistently been the best 2-minute gold farm in WoW for me. With the recent discovery of the exploit here:

it can be done endlessly-it is like gold farming on crack.

Set-up

This method requires a priest. If you do not have one a level 10 allied race priest will do but you will need to group up with a high-level character to run through the dungeon we will be farming.

The priest must first level Outland mining to 75.

Take your priest into the Shadow Labyrinth dungeon in Terrokar Forest near Shatrath in Outland, Shadow Labyrinth is part of the Auchindoun complex of dungeons.

Macros For Finding Khorium

At the entrance type the following commands or make them into macros and use mind vision after each:

/tar bl

/tar gr

/tar spy

These commands will target npc's near adamantite nodes in the dungeon. You can instantly check the mini-map for them to see where they have spawned.

Resetting The Instance

These nodes have a small chance to spawn multiple khorium ores instead of adamantite. Khorium is the most valuable ore in wow. Currently it goes for 400 gold on the auction house. One Khorium node often produces over 2000 gold's worth of value.

Now, if there is no khorium node spawned exit the dungeon, reset the instance and try again. This will happen most of the time. But it takes only seconds to check the whole dungeon with mind vision, and only a few minutes to hit instance lockout.

If a khorium node has spawned then and only then run through the dungeon till you reach the node. You may wish to invest in some pinchwhistle nitro fuel

which combined with a cooking fire will kill your character and transport them back to the entrance.

Profitability

The length of time you can do this farm for would normally be severely restricted by instance lockout.

However, the aforementioned exploit:

transforms this into a farm which consistently produces 50-150K an hour depending on the supply of Khorium to the AH at the time.

Time To Sale

Khorium sells me for at the moment within a day. Generally speaking it sells within a week at most.

If you produce too much Khorium it is possible you could crash the market and make it difficult to sell. I would not do this eight hours a day.

For Readers In The Future If This Is Nerfed

This method is mostly a creative use of game mechanics and so will not be fixed as such. However the method to bypass instance lockout IS an exploit and may well be fixed if you are reading this in the future.

This method will still have value if that happens. You can just run it to instance lockout every hour. Or you can try it with characters on different realms where instance lockout does not apply.
