Timewalking Item Being Auctioned For Truly Insane Prices (Patreon)

The item, "Portable Yak Wash" available for Mistweaver Xia for 500 Timewalking Badges, can be traded on the auction house. This may be a mistake that could be corrected by Blizzard. 

This item has been posted on multiple realms auction house for tens of thousands of gold. It is impossible to tell how many people are actually buying the item. 

The item is a completely useless vanity item and actually requires you to have a yak mount. When I say something is useless I really mean it: I have hundreds of completely useless vanity items.  So I'm a bit sceptical that you can sell the item for 22,000 Gold as wowhead seems to think. 

That said, it takes only 10 minutes to do a Timewalking dungeon.  If you can sell the item for even 2K gold then it represents quite a good return.

This item presents me with a bit of a dllemma: normally I have to test something and make it work for myself to recommend it to patreons. In this case there is quite a good chance it will not work, but there is the possibility of significant profits if it does. So I thought I would give you guys the information and let you decide.

UPDATE: I managed to sell one of these items for 2K fairly quickly. Will keep pushing the price up and see what happens.

UP-UPDATE: Managed to sell one for 10K overnight, again fairly quickly.
