So I just posted a monk one-shot exploit on youtube. For obvious reasons I removed a lot of content that was too near the mark.

The youtube video was designed to appeal to a mainstream audience and consequently features strategies which work in-world or in rated content.

To briefly explain the premise of the exploit: you use the windwalker talent "fatal flying guilotine", and attack some kind of  npc or object next to a player, and you get 35% of the damage caused on the player. If you stack enough stamina this is often fatal.

Now the difficulty is in getting an npc close to a player. In my video I used the "D'jaradin Pinata" which is an object that can be produced anywhere when used and attacked-but this is only for world pvp and unrated battlegrounds.

To get this to work in arena you will need to smuggle in an npc from outside. This is quite challenging-but it can be done. For example Horde players can use the quest "Honor And Strength" in the Eastern Plaguelands-

share this quest and 3 trolls will appear next to the player.

It requires some co-ordination to make this work and a second account/partner-but it means you should be able to literally one-shot your way to a high rating.

Another technique is to acquire a debuff on the player which produces hostile npc's. These debuffs often carry through to arena and can sometimes be placed on pets/minions.

For example the "parasitic fleshbeasts" in Access Shaft Zeon in Netherstorm, Outland have an ability called "parasite" which casts a debuff of the same name on you. After 30 seconds this produces two monsters which can be attacked. You can take this debuff anywhere. You can even get a friendly player to have it cast on pets that can be dismissed and then summoned when you need the debuff. (There are several buffs like this which I'm saving in this case this one gets fixed).

To get the debuff you will need to psync down to level 50 so the fleshbeasts can actually hit you-you can turn on psync by grouping with a character on a free starter edition account.

To conclude: here are some additional monk-based exploits from the archives here:
